About Me
Finalist 2014 ReverbNation Alternative Music Breakout Artist in Worcester- Mass Sept 8. Won finalist spot with passionate, energetic presence on stage! In 2015, Magik Squirrel became a Beantown 9 Finalists in the Hard Rock Rising - Boston competition. His performance had Lizzy Borden, the heavy metal queen and Alt. Rock legend Robin Lane impressed with both calling him "High energy" and "exciting" with ""great songs"
"I get it you rock," said Borden.
Magik Squirrel has a sound that is hard to place and even harder to forget. it sticks out because it is different. The songs do not always have traditional structure or compositions yet, remain familiar to the ears as it seems 40 years of rock and blues have been put into a blender and poured through your speakers.
The mix has earned the songwriter plenty of attention becoming an Nominee finalist for IPMA Music Awards 2016 for "No Limits" sung by Thalia BUlhoes.

But tragedy struck in 2016 as Magik Squirrel was bitten by a tick and was diagnosed with deadly disease called Anaplasmosis which was initially misdiagnosed and limited his life.
Yet, he was able to record the Rock Tree a homage to the long roots of music. It is rebellion album featuring the Mohawk War Song, a song about the Native American civil rights movement as well as John Brown, and Wolf.
The album also contains the jazzy "Anxiety," the poppy "Turtle" and the classic Magik rebellious theme of "Im Not Getting Older"
