Lori Nebo was born and raised in California. She started singing in church, gospel choir, and as a lead singer; was also in a few all girl group bands. She began writing and recording her own songs after attending UCSB and also wrote songs for the group while in an all girl group called;"Girls In the Mix".
While working for hospice as a nurse and singing for a balloon company, she performed in many live bands, showscases in California, nights, weekends. She started out singing telegrams, creating her own birthday, anniversary, valentines songs for all occasions, delivering singing telegrams for a balloon company in California wearing various clown and gorilla costumes. This is where she started writing more and more songs in the car,( wherever and whenever the songs would come.)
She continues on her journey as a recording artist, singer and songwriter. She performs live weekly shows as a DJ, host and singer. She works constantly in the studio and has developed her own Entertainment company called;" Inspiration Love Songs."( Ascap) . As an independent artist; she has lived in The Bronx, New York since the year 2000. She has recorded with several producers in queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx, including :"The Boogie Down Bronx" with Robbie Mitchell, "Shout out to the Troops;" with Robert Honablue, Wishing on A Brand New Star & Take Me To the Water with piano man; Paul Von Thadden and with producer Steve Sola. Since she has arrived in NYC; She has started her own business in music; Karaoke/Dj and live band services; continues to work for private party's, weddings, concerts and in night clubs, irish pubs and other concert events going on in New York city and beyond, wherever she is called to work. She was a single teenage mother of twin girls; (Typhanie &Tisha); Melinda and Edward proud to have been able to raise them on her own.
