- 517 Family is a group out Lansing Michigan of folks who love Hip-Hop from Kool Herc on thru 21 Savages. We want to bring a fusion from 1979 on. Period. We Collaborate in samples, as well as the "ORIGINAL BEAT" idea. You won't get any "sounds like" offerings here. D.J. DeeGeezy DG is a native of NYC who has ate drank and slept hip-hop from 1979. Bateski is the Mid-West/West Coast Guru of the funky groove. We have affiliates with extensive "Ear and Input" experience that we are confident, makes our level of quality appealing. We want your input and presence on our journey. The boil down is that we make beats. We are looking to be a beats warehouse, A&R, and Big Pie goal, label or distributor.
