- What up people, my name is Carlos aka DON C. I am a hip hop artist / producer of BEAT DOWN RECORDS out of Taylors, SC. I'm originally from Chicago, Illinois, and was raised in Indianola, MS and Atlanta, GA. I've been in this music game since 94 when I had a group called SKG's. We opened for Lil John, Dru Hill, and Doe or Die. I really love music and the way you can express yourself doing music. Most people who are in the game and haven't been put on would probably give up, but I will never stop because I love what I do. Of course we all want a deal, a chance to prove ourselves, but regardless if I get a deal or not, I will always love doing music! Real music lives here!
