Brad Schecter was born Bradford Evan Schecter on January 5, 1978 in Inglewood, CA, USA. Growing up, Brad always knew he wanted to be a performer. He began studying classical piano performance at age 6 at South Bay Conservatory in Palos Verdes Estates, CA that continued into his adult life. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2001 with a B.A. in theatre. He continued to sing and play in bands all through his life. Most recently, he was singing in a progressive metal band called Scarred in Los Angeles and opened for Quiet Riot. He was also in a band called Blue Embrace playing the Viper Room, Rainbow Room, and opening up for Uriah Heep at the Key Club for the opening ceremonies of the Sunset Strip Music Festival. Brad has recorded with Phil Collen from Def Leppard whom he has managed to stay in contact with over the years. In addition to being a rock tenor, he has been playing piano and drums for over 25 years. On the album he played piano, drums, keyboards, and all percussion. He wrote all the music and lyrics, including the guitar solos. His music can best be described as progressive hard rock with a sizable piano presence. His music is being played daily on Alumni Radio and has been played by George Noory (Coast to Coast Am Radio, www.coasttocoastam.com) on his radio show on kfi640am dial! He has over a million listeners countrywide. In addition, his single, Another Day has also been getting daily spins on KISS FM 104.7 and has been played on ARFM in London! And he is in the top ten on the charts of rock artists in Los Angeles on Reverbnation!
After playing in bands for most of his life, Brad decided it was finally time to release his own solo album filled with songs he has written since he was 15; Live Your Dreams. This album chronicles the past 22 years of his life including the death of his father at age 16, his ongoing struggle with depression and anxiety, the recent estrangement of his mother, but most importantly, never giving up. Although it took 22 years to write and realize his vision, it was not until recently that he finally felt like it was time to share his life story with the world.

Hi There! How is your soul feeling? For years I struggled with getting views on my videos. For the first year it was mainly due to me being lazy and not telling people to listen to my track! After a mentor of mines noticed my trend....he finally asked me if I was promoting my videos. I was like for what. I recorded the track, uploaded it and either people gonna see it or not. My mentor was like and that's why nobody looks at your videos. You are not letting people know you exist. See More
