About Me

Melinda “Mo” Todd was born August 25, 1975. Melinda loved to sing as a child, singing in the church choir and in Chorus in high school. Her Grandmother was her biggest fan, encouraging Melinda to sing whenever the mood touched her to do so.
During her 10 years of marriage, Mo was gifted with two wonderful boys, Caleb and Dylan. As a wife and mother, Mo spent very little time on her love of music.
After her divorce in 2008, the first major purchase Mo made was a piano. Over the last four years, Mo has rediscovered her love and talent for music. In the last year & half she has written 50 songs.
A self-described “zen hippy chick” Mo, is very spiritual and passionate about the power of positive belief and hope. Highly intuitive, Mo believes in taking chances and following her dreams.
Despite a myriad of personal and traumatic medical problems that she is trying to put behind her, Mo is still positive in her outlook. Life is struggle and an artist embraces their struggles and triumphs and uses it as a focus for their artistic expression.

NewTribeZ internet radio has been a huge supporter and love playing her music on their station.

Update...now as of March20, 2015, she has a total of 80 + original songs written which she's trying in her spare time to get all material together, arrangement, and recorded. She wants to thank everyone for their support and all the kindness everyone has been giving to her!!

soulful, blues, jazz, folk, rock... myriad of styles yet soulful is main style as I believe main ingredient in singing and writing music and poetry!!
