  • TC ECKSTEIN, VOCALESE (LADII)

I will too but this one sounds kinda fishy so, I don't want to air out something that I may come off Naive' about.  To Be truthful, they are asking for the Press Kit and I am not sure if mine's is complete on Reverbnation I believe so..But 1stly I want a man's point of view on whether it's setting up a date or business and how to approach it and whayt to look for.  Folks gotta be careful these dayz!!

  • TC ECKSTEIN, VOCALESE (LADII)

I also give my appreciation for any assistance. Not trying to be hesitant or distrustful , it's just sometimes with Female Artists we get the run around by getting hit on when we mean business.  LADII TC is not having it.  LOL  PS: I like your post on Small Labels, very good.  I too noticed Yolanda that foreign fans are more loyal, my son has most of his numbers high overseas and I get alot of UK fans, They are so hip and Cool..I love them..Want to go there and tour one day.  So into the music, it's great! GN Y'ALL!

  • TC ECKSTEIN, VOCALESE (LADII)

  • TC ECKSTEIN, VOCALESE (LADII)

Thank You YOLIE for sharing the info on the Press Kit's..I felt embarrassed to even mention it.  It was really like WTH??  when they ask about some things.  But now that I know, It's time to get more PC ink and Paper and Make more room in the File Cabinet.  Thank Goodness my daughter -In -Law and Son got SKILLZ..They will have the resume's pink and perfumed like in that movie with Reese Witherspoon at Harvard...LOL  and their photog skillz are off the chain..I Love it!!..Can't say life is boring that's for certain..LOL Blessings Everyone!!

I really value what we are discussing here as far as the paper end of this side of the Music Biz.  Alot of us are out here with blinders on, use to others doing it for us..  I want to be more involved in what is needed.  I'm so glad my son studied the business end of music in college.  He knows so much, cause the rap game of course has much underhandedness goings on as well as the other genre's but the stories he tells me sometimes in what he's seen and where he's been, I worry so about him.  I don't think the average person knows when they discover they have a talent how much more work is involved..to get further, it is work not just all fun and showtime.  I hope others join this group and see what they need to be getting together if they haven't already. Peace Ya'll!

  • TC ECKSTEIN, VOCALESE (LADII)

Any of you new Artists to these discussions may really want to make special note of the pointer's being given here and have no shame in asking questions..  The responses you can get from this group are way beneficial knowledge you will come to nonetheless at a point and time in your career that you want to be ready for.  Whoever said making it as a musician was a liar..It's not like in the 50"s & 60's..Now everything has to be in place or they will pass you over with the quickness.  Take heed and God Bless You All. :)

I look forward to reading what other artists have done to promote their music. Right know I've been trying anything and everything to do the same, but it makes it tough when monies tight. I'll try to put my two cents worth in, if I have anything worth saying. I hope that's alright?

Hello members: I'm really interested in getting Extreme Dream music on College Radio stations. Has anyone had any luck doing this and if so how did you do it. Right now E/D is on some Internet stations and has been played on regular Radio stations in Texas and Ohio. Do you have any ideas on getting more? Like Yolanda, I'm on FB, MS, POZE, Bebo, Muzlik, Jukeboxgallery and others. It seems I don't have enough time to check all of them. How does everyone else do it?

Thanks Yolonda. I found some Colleges on The internet, by putting in College Radio. I then picked which ones to contact. I'm just not sure how. They don't have any e-mail addresses, or anything to contact them. so I'm kinda stuck. Any ideas from anyone?
