<p style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 1.08333em; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px 0px 20px;">MIAMI, FL – Claudia Lopez is a Cuban-American artist who has been in love with music since day one. With a soulful sound that draws from a variety of artistic influences, she is able to truly create magic. Her most recent release is her debut album created to tell the loved one she’s lost all about the time they have spent apart. This album digs deep into the mind and heart of its creator to show something that is simply untouchable. “Running Out of Time” is truly a gorgeous album with an amazing story and message.

<p style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 1.08333em; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px 0px 20px;">After the passing of her cousin Jennifer Cordero, who she often refers to as her sister, she suddenly became a pillar for her family, having to pick up the pieces of a heartbroken family. This never gave her the chance to grieve the loss of someone so close to her, it was not until the forced pause that COVID-19 brought on did she really have the chance to sit down and explore her emotions, which were later turned into songs and finally a full album. “I found myself in the midst of a global pandemic, just wishing that I could fill her in on this crazy life right now. Then it clicked for me. This is how I was going to tell her what was going on, and include how much I needed her and what a hole I had, because she was gone.” This was truly a beautiful and inspiring way for Lopez to share not only her story but her love for someone so important to her.

<p style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 1.08333em; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px 0px 20px;">“Running Out of Time” is truly an album to show the importance of time and using it to your every advantage. “Right after she passed, the very first song that I wrote was “Next Life,” because I just feel like we didn’t have that conversation. We never thought that we needed to have that conversation where I was like, ‘If there is an afterlife, I need you to choose me again, as your sister. I need us to be us again’. We never had that talk because we were so young, but, I suddenly felt like we didn’t make this clear, and if I had just one more day with her, I would have told her ‘Please choose me in your next life, because I’m going to choose you’. Not only does the album discuss the importance of using your time well, it shares the growth that Lopez has seen in the four years since losing her loved one.

<p style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 1.08333em; line-height: 20px; margin: 0px 0px 20px;">It is truly obvious that Lopez’s entire heart went into creating this album. From the writing to the performance and production, she has put her love and care into creating every bit of this album, and you can hear it in every track. This album is something that you experience your own grief through, no matter what that may be. It is simply an amazing project.

Be sure to keep an eye out for these releases and be ready for the release of “Running Out of Time” in August 2021.

Gospel Pop song from timeless greats holds spot in Top 20 for 12 weeks

CINCINNATI, OH – The hit Gospel track from brothers, Del and Garry K Stewart continues to resonate with people all over the world, and has held a spot in the Top 20 of the Top 300 Emerging Song Charts for more than 12 weeks. “His Door Is Open” reached as high as No. 5 on the chart, and it has also made its way onto some prominent playlists on Spotify, including: Mixed Up Mondays, Throwback Tuesdays, Game Day, and Fresh Off The Press playlists. The brothers have also been listed on Spotify as one of the hottest unsigned recording artists of 2020.

That’s quite a year for two brothers who have been in the industry for nearly five decades. They started their career in 1975 by releasing their first single, “How Far Can Our Love Go,” which led to a chance meeting with Motown songwriter and producer Hal Davis. They auditioned for him at the Downtown Cincinnati Playboy Club, and other opportunities soon followed. By 1981, they were working with Midwest producer and owner of CounterPart Records, Shad O’Shay, who helped create their first hit record, “Get Down, Get Down.” That success continued over the years with other regional hits and singles that found their way to audiences all over the world. And along the way, these two brothers have never lost sight of who it is that makes all of this possible.

“We are very, very thankful and grateful, and we know that God is blessing us,” Del said. “We give all praise to God. And we just pray that God will lead us to the right people so that our music can make an impact.”

One part R&B and one part Gospel, “His Door is Open” is like Motown-meets-modern-day-Soul, with some Pop vibes thrown in for good measure. It’s the perfect song to continue the legacy of these two brothers and the uplifting messages they’ve been passing along through music for the past 45 years.

“We feel our sound is Christian Pop,” Garry K said. “We’re incorporating old school with new school. That comes with a softer sound that’s bringing positive lyrics. A lot of songs out there right now are more profanity-driven and don’t have any type of a strong message. The message we’re trying to convey is a strong message about Christ our hope and not giving up on your dreams. We’ve been around since 1975, and that should attest to other people that whatever dreams you have are never over until God says they’re over. If you decide to quit, then you’re giving up on your dreams and sometimes you gotta fight for your dreams.”

The brothers plan to ride the wave of success from their latest single by releasing more hits in 2021. For starters, they’re going to re-release their song “Faith” which originally dropped about five years ago. According to Garry K, it’s a song that is right on point for things that people are dealing with around the world right now.

“We believe people should hear this one,” he said. “It’s a good next step from ‘His Door is Open.’”

The Stewarts are also working on a new original called “Stand,” which should be ready for release by this summer.

International artist Boorook connects cultures with new album ‘Positive Change’

VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – In the region of southwest Victoria, Australia, Aboriginal families like the Kirrae Whurrung keep traditional culture strong through song, their ancient crafts and song healing methods are as strong today and truly connect in the challenges we all face in a more hectic world.

Brett Clarke is a descendent of and brings song ‘in his soul’ from Kirrae Whurrung Tradition He opens a door for the listener to enjoy and share how they want. This is an infusion and style of international music – a sound that takes center stage on his new album “Positive Change,” which is currently available across all streaming platforms. Local community calls out to Boorook “Deadly Vibes Brother!”

With an ethereal vibe that mixes Hip Hop beats and Classic Rock licks, “Positive Change” showcases Clarke’s vocals over a kind of World Music sound that offers a different approach with a fusion of multiple genres. Boorook – a traditional name derived from the land in which his people live, his ‘Mother’ Country, brings this international feel good vibe. His words come straight from the heart, and generally come from an angle of forward thinking positive change, which, of course, is where the name of the album gets its inspiration.

“In these strange days we’re living in, ‘Positive Change” is the type of album that can give people hope and send them some healing through music,” Boorook said. “Music is the universal language that brings people together. The overall tone is light and joyful. There are some earth world songs, some with Classic Rock vibes, soulfully blended to heal and connect us all back to Country”.

The opening track from the album is a perfect example of the kind of connecting out to World Music Boorook is going for. “Mother Earth” smoothly pairs a mid-tempo Hip Hop beat with well crafted electric guitar riffs for a bouncy feel that’s a good foil for Boorook’s ethereal vocals. This sets the tone for the rest of the album, which explores more of those sounds and delivers a truly feel good vibe. Along the way, Boorook aims to educate listeners about his heritage, integrating some language from his tribe into many of the songs.

“Dreaming” is a single that’s upbeat and has a chorus that uses words from that culture. It’s a song about walking and talking with respect – something that he said people should appreciate more.

“Coming from one of the oldest song nations in the world, it’s important to continue our dreaming stories and our culture,” he said. “Music is a good vehicle and tool to educate people on indigenous topics and issues. Ultimately, I want my music to be known for sharing a good message of hope. I want it to be something that gives a good message while sharing that cultural knowledge and encouraging people to care for country and for the land and for other people.”

Following the release of the album, Boorook said he has some exciting projects and collaborations soon to be announced.

Prodigy BlameKlaus launches onto international stage with new Alt-R&B single ‘Pain’

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA – R&B has a new international flavor thanks to the new music coming out of South Africa from 15-year-old artist Klaus Stechmann. Operating under the stage name BlameKlaus, this young up-and-comer has a sound that evokes thoughts of Drake or Usher, but with a worldlier vibe that lives in the realm of Electronic Synth Pop fused with old-school R&B. His sound is a refreshing take on the R&B genre, and his new single “Pain” is a great introduction of that sound to an international audience.

Opening with some haunting synths, the ethereal vibe of the song lays a foundation for the heavy bass and driving 808s that offer fans the most epic of slow jams. When Klaus’ vocals come in, they’re like a mysterious haze hovering over the swaggy waters of the creative ocean of sound he’s developed. His lyrics explore depths of relationship that no 15-year-old should have to experience and which will connect with audiences of all ages that have been in up-and-down relationships.

“It’s about a past relationship and all the flaws that came up over and over again,” BlameKlaus said. “I talk about how I feel about it and how my experience is probably like a lot of other people’s experiences. It’s slightly alternative R&B but with more deep-and-dark tones.”

BlameKlaus said his sound is tailored to his natural gifts and abilities as an artist – something he’s been developing since he was a young child. Of late, he’s been working with producer Asta Yurei to develop a sound and style that is uniquely his own – a sound that will be showcased to his rapidly growing international audience with even more singles to be released in the coming months. He said he recorded quite a bit of music in 2020 and has a plan to strategically release that music to the world this year.

“I want my music to be enjoyed by anyone,” he said. “I really want people to listen to my story and be able to say that it’s an experience and a half that maybe they can relate to. Or maybe they just like the sound of the song. My main goal is to get people to deeply listen to my music. I’d love for them to study it – not just listen to it once and breeze past it. I want them to understand and talk about and dissect it so that it will correlate with their lives.”

“Pain” is currently available across all streaming platforms. BlameKlaus said he’s working on a video for the song that he’d like to release in the next couple of months.

J Cutta uses hype energy of NBA All Star to power his new single ‘Mutombo’

ATLANTA, GA – During the 1990s and early 2000s, there was one NBA player who dominated on defense. Hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dikembe Mutombo was a force in the paint. Known for his signature phrase “Not in my house,” this 7-foot-2 warrior was best known for his shot-blocking skills. He’d swat away a shot and stuff a jam and then stand over his opponent, wagging his long index finger in their face.

As a young boy growing up in Atlanta watching the professional NBA team The Hawks, Joshua Opoku got to watch Mutombo play a lot of games. To this day, he remembers the smile that would always come across his face when he’d watch Mutombo swat away a shot and say his signature phrase. And today as Opoku works to expand his career as a recording artist, he uses a lot of that energy to push his music forward. Operating under the stage name J Cutta, he’s released his latest song as an homage to the hall of fame NBA star with the single “Mutombo.”

“It’s high energy,” J Cutta said. “It’s a run song – one of those songs that you can work out with at the gym. I wanted to do a high energy song and a tribute, in a sense, at the same time. Mutombo had such a cool catch phrase and I thought it would be cool to incorporate that into the song. It’s just a fun, high-energy song with a catchy hook that includes that catchphrase. It’s definitely a riding song that gets you ramped up.”

J Cutta is a new, innovated face in Hip Hop. A student of music since he was a child, he grew up in Atlanta and embraced the influence of artists such as Nas and Outkast to help mold his creative expression. He’s become known as a lyrical painter who has an ability to transport listeners to a different time and place through his music. People recognize the truth he brings to his music, relating experiences from his own life to share with others.

“I’ve been a fan of music since elementary school and spent a lot of time listening to music to learn how to write my own material,” he said. “I used to listen to songs on the radio and try to write my own lyrics. I thought the way Nas and Outkast put words with a soulful track was art. Being from Atlanta, a lot of people expect to hear 100 percent Trap music. You might hear a little bit of that from me but overall, I’ve got a sound that’s more R&B type of a vibe with Rap fused in. Other songs I do might be more closely related to Drake’s sound or a Cali type of vibe. There are different bits and pieces to my music, and when you hear it, I hope you feel an emotional attachment to it. I hope 10 years from now if you go back and listen to one of my songs, it takes you back to that moment in time and you can remember what you were doing then – it sparks a flashback, nostalgic feeling. With my music, I’m always bringing back some type of memory that’s engraved or tattooed on you.”

J Cutta said he’s working on a bigger project that he plans to release later this year called “Dreams Don’t Die.” Another single, “Fall Thru,” is slated to drop before the summer as a follow-up to “Mutombo” which is currently available across all streaming platforms.

Nialand gives us the ultimate pandemic playlist with new audiovisual EP, “Words and Sounds To Quarantine To”

CHICAGO, IL -Nialand is a singer-songwriter, and international recording artist with a collection of experiences and a true talent for lyricism and music. Her latest project, an audiovisual EP entitled, “Words and Sounds To Quarantine To”, is an emotional and relatable project that showcases her own experience both personally and as a musician maintaining sanity in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The deeply soulful and smooth hip hop sounds, wrapped in vulnerable lyrics are only enhanced by the visual experience displayed through a short-film like music video which Nialand directed and starred in herself. This visual component gives life to the lyrics and resonates with viewers and listeners from all backgrounds in a very unique and refreshing way.

Nialand has been making music for much of her life. “I have been in the music business for about 16 years now. I’ve been fully independent the entire time but I’ve been able to do a lot of things in the industry. When I first started in the music business, I was doing features and collaborations with lots of artists.” Throughout the years, she has been able to work with a collection of big name artists including MC Lyte, Chico DeBarge, Roy Ayers, Lupe Fiasco, and Kanye West and more. She has also performed both nationally and internationally at venues such as the House of Blues, Gibson Amphitheater, Fox Theater, and several music venues and events in Europe as a featured artist on the “Moments for Love UK Soul Tour 2016”

The experiences that Nialand has had over the course of her career has allowed her to embrace her own style and freely express her music with unique distinction. Her music is a blend of Hip Hop, Soul and Jazz with a specific focus on her lyrical delivery. “I’m a very lyrical person. I love to write and songwriting is my first love. I choose to write my experiences and share them. I’ve found that me being open and honest about the things that I have seen and experienced, allows my music to connect to so many other people’s stories.” Her lyricism creates a relatable feel within her music that is hard to replicate.

“Words and Sounds to Quarantine To” is a perfect example of the connection that Nialand’s music offers to listeners. The EP focuses on the adjustments that she had to make in her life and her career as a musician during such unprecedented times. “I couldn’t really see what was next and I didn’t know what was happening. I had a lot of emotions and feelings and thoughts that I believe that we all have had at some point during this time. Having to deal with those things personally led me to writing my feelings out in song. There wasn’t anywhere that I could go, there was nothing that I could do except be present with my feelings, so I would just sit and write.” Once I embraced those feelings, the words and songs flowed out in only a few days, and
from there, I created and shot the visuals to go with it. The visuals that go along with this EP were all directed by Nialand. They give a powerful visual interpretation to the words and feelings expressed in the music. “It’s something you have to experience. It shows me being in this space of quarantine and what I did in this place of isolation. You see me on lockdown, (as we all are), in my own space just having to sit and just be. You will see me express different moments of frustration, boredom, and contemplation about everything that’s happening and having to process those thoughts and come to a resolve.” Nialand had to endure the challenge of shooting this visual in the midst of a pandemic, but by throwing herself into her creativity, she was able to find a way to strategically and intentionally build a quarantine set out of a small, empty art gallery which resulted in a stunning visual presentation.

Through this audiovisual EP, Nialand hopes to normalize the process of feeling, especially as we experience such a strange and uncomfortable time. “If nothing else, the year 2020 has taught us that there are some things that are just completely out of our control and full of uncertainty. You have to allow yourself to be aware of what you’re feeling and how you’re processing those feelings and not just jump to try to solve things because, in reality, there are some things you won’t be able to solve, and that’s ok. You just have to endure and have the right perspective”

At the end of 2020, Nialand released a single and part one of the full visual. “WASTQT”, the title track of the EP (abbreviated), is an emotional and honest song with a chill, soulful/hip hop groove. Nialand gets extremely vulnerable on camera with this visual and leaves you fully anticipating what will happen next. It is easy to vibe to and is a great example of her beautiful sound and strong lyricism.

Be sure to check out the single and visual for “WASTQT” and look for Nialand on social media. Keep an eye out for the full release of “Words and Sounds To Quarantine To” which is dropping in late Spring 2021.

Chilla Tokage kicks off 2021 with chill vibes on new single ‘Watchlist’

LOUIS, MO – With the New Year comes a hot new track from Midwest artistChillaTokage. Released on Jan. 1, “Watchlist” is a wavy flow of chill vibes that is the perfect slow jam to enter the world into the new year. With steady 808s and a laid-back vibe, “Watchlist” features Chilla’s one-of-a-kind sound and style with a song that offers a timely message to the world.

“Last year was a crazy year and in the middle of that I had a brief encounter with some federal agents that made people think I was on a watch list,” Chilla said. “This song is about that experience. I’m not a bad person and I wasn’t doing anything wrong, the whole situation was just circumstantial. But it was a situation that ended up with me being weirded out and the best way I could deal with it was through music.”

Chilla’s journey in music started when he was very young. His oma was a concert pianist who started teaching how to play when he was only 3 years old. As he grew older, he played in recitals and soon mastered the piano so well that he became bored of playing other people’s music – so he started writing his own. When he was 7, he wrote his first composition, and ever since then he’s been fooling around with different sounds and styles.

“I lately have moved more toward professional recordings and I want to make music that can be enjoyed by many people,” he said. “I like getting audio quality that sounds great and makes people feel a certain way. It’s like therapy for me making it, and for them hearing it.”

Chilla said 2020 brought an opportunity to really explore a variety of sounds and styles. He especially played with different vocal styles and has found a unique groove with a higher-pitched vocal that he said is reminiscent of The Weeknd. Other inspirations include Juicy J, Three-Six Mafia, Wiz Khalifa, Alexi Laiho, Post Malone, and the late XXXTentacion.

“Like them, I want to be known as hella good,” he said. “I have different songs for different vibes. If you’re feeling hype and want to listen to something to pump you up, my music will stand out. If you’re sad and you want to mellow out, then you can listen to my melodic songs and just vibe to it. If you’re chilling and want to sit back and smoke and feel good, I’ve got music for that. But I’ve also got music that can make you pissed off. I just have different vibes for everybody.”

In addition to “Watchlist,” Chilla also has the singles “Spaceship” and “Loud Pack” that are making waves among fans, and he has another single called “Legend” that will come out later this year.

Q the Music sets the tone for 2021 with new single ‘Lust & Pain (L&P)’

A mix of Trap, Soul and Rock take center stage with the latest single from Hip Hop artist Q the Music. “Lust &Pain” is a track created by this Navy engineer currently stationed in Guam. He’s been a writer and producer for other artists for many years and over the past couple of years has taken the time to create his own music, which he is just now ready to share with the world. “Lust & Pain” is the first of those offerings. The aggressive, gravely vocal is set against heavy 808s with a distorted synth keyboard melody in the background that takes listeners on a journey. The bouncy beat drives people to bop their heads while the deep lyrics make people want to hear more of Q’s story.

“It’s basically a re-enactment of a time when I was in LA,” Q said. “It was one of those crazy nights when you go out and party and you’re with a toxic individual that you don’t realize how bad they are until later. My music is an emotional ride and I really want people to vibe with it. You can put on all of my tracks throughout the day and get a bunch of different vibes, with lyrics that make you think and intrigue you to make you want to listen to it more.”

Q said he first got into music when he was younger. He started off as a dancer, and many of his first jobs as a dancer were enough to keep him off the streets in Michigan where he grew up. He knew he had a gift for entertaining, but never tried writing songs of his own until he got older. He recalls listening to Otis Redding, Frankie Lymon, The Temptations, and especially Prince when he was younger – all of whom influenced his sound and style over the years. Around age 14, he started dabbling with writing and then during his teenage years, he began working on several movie sets as an actor and production assistant. But all along the way, music has been the main thing that has stayed true for him.

“I write my music based on my light and dark experiences of growing up and from traveling around the world with the U.S. Navy,” he said. “I consider my form of music to be genre-blending, using old and new forms of sound – from Rock & Roll to Hip Hop. When I’m not writing music, I’m creating concept EP and album covers. Music is the greatest stress reliever, especially when I’m out at sea for months and I don’t see land. I’m an engineer so I’m always looking at lights and hearing the engine non-stop, and I would write lyrics at night to get through those things. Music has always been the thing that has gotten me through hard stuff.”

Q said “Lust & Pain” is just the first of many songs yet to come. He’s working on an EP called “Prisoner” which should drop in March, with even more music slated for later in the year.

R&B Duo DeeZire brings back classic 90s sound with new single ‘Tell Me’

ATLANTA, GA – While there are many artists emerging from the booming Atlanta music industry, few of them possess the unique talent and style that DeeZire exhibits. This up-and-coming R&B and Hip Hop duo comprised of members cousins Swade and X’Clusiv offer a truly special blend of sound, style and influence to the world. They have everything it takes to become the next big name in music.

Their recent single, “Tell Me,” is a great example of the kind of groundbreaking sound they’re bringing to the international market. A true love song that’s indicative of the late 1990s and early 2000s R&B sound, “Tell Me” is all about putting that loved one on a pedestal.

“It’s speaking to your significant other and wanting them to tell you what they want from you,” Swade X ’Clusiv said. “It’s about supplying your significant other their needs. The 90s sound of this song is a lot like all of our music, which plays a big influence in how we write and sing. It’s a totally different sound than what’s on the radio today with R&B and Pop. We do a lot of harmonies and a lot of arrangements with live instruments across all our tracks.”

DeeZire formed in 2013 when Swade and X’Clusiv came together in Atlanta. They both had a mutual love for music, and the more time they spent around each other, the more they realized they shared the same inspirations – from Michael Jackson and Prince to New Edition and Usher, among others. They soon realized that if they worked together, their shared passion to use music and share their artistic voice with the rest of the world could lead to something truly original.

“We’re bringing that classic sound of R&B back,” X’clusiv Swade said. “Everybody has been saying it’s dead, but we don’t feel that way. We feel that R&B isn’t being marketed the way Pop and hip Hop is right now, and we want to bring that back to the table. We want to show that there are still people out there doing quality R&B music that you can vibe and rock to. We want to put that sound back on the map.”

With a follow up to their debut EP, “Love Therapy,” The duo hopes to do just that with the release of their second debut EP, “Love ZoneTherapy,” which is slated to drop in the next couple of months. One Two more singles, “Raindrops” and “Love Zone” is are slated to release before the full EP, however.
