THAT LITTLE BOY
THAT I ONCE WAS
WHO IS EVEN NOW
GIGGLING AT MY DISMAY
CAUSE HE KNOWS
IT'S ONLY FLESH
A FRAGILE WRAPPING
TO TEMPORARILY HOUSE
MY SOUL
AND HE IS NOT GONE
HE WAITS IN THE TWINKLE
OF HAZEL, GENTLY LASHED
AND HE IS PATIENT
AS HE PLAYS IN
MY MEMORIES
AWAITING THE DAY
WHEN THE SHELL
CRUMBLES AND I AM
REJOINED TO HIM
AS ONE AGAIN
FOREVER YOUNG
WHERE WE WILL
DANCE ACROSS
CUMULUS PLAINS DODGING
LIGHTNING AND SKIPPING
THRU RAINBOWS.
WE WILL RUN WITH
THE OTHERS OF MY YOUTH
IN ENDLESS GAMES OF FROLIC
FRESH BLUSHED CHEEKS
AND THE GLOW OF
ADOLESCENT
INCANDESCENT ON OUR SKIN.

SILVERED FRAME
LIES ONLY DARKNESS..

BEHIND THE SHADOWS
OF THE SOCKETS OF MY SKULL
NOT YET EXPOSED
THERE LIES A WORLD

"Sumtimes" is a great oral history on the situation in Africa over the decades. love the passion but I hate the story that made you speak so eloquently.
No one should ever be enslaved by anyone else, it is a sin that sets aside the hottest palces in hell for the men who were slavmasteras. beautiful work
