Champion__________________________________________________

Many people know the story of how David went up against Goliath (the uncircumcised Philistine 1 Samuel 17: 48-50) and how he had great success.  Among other aspects in this battle, David remembered what God had done for him in the pass.  In the eyes of man David was no match for Goliath.  David appeared to be doomed, but through the eyes of faith he was a champion in Jesus name.

What is your Goliath that keeps you from being triumphant in your daily walk? 

• Is it others? 

• Is it situations and circumstances?

• Could it be time management? 

• Or is it yourself that keeps you bond? 

   

  What ever the bondage is, know this; God is on your side.  When situations push our faith to the limits, we often grow weary in well doing; however in Galatians 6:9-10 we are instructed not be weary in well doing.  The word goes on to declare that we will reap in due season.  My beloved lets be real about it, sometimes we feel like throwing in the towel or passing this cup to somebody else.  However, like our savior said, not his will, but the Father’s will be done.  Luke 22:42

   

   

  I believe there are several traits that will cause us to be a champion. 

  They are as follows:

   

• We must be committed to God.

• We must have a spirit of humility.

• We must be righteously assertive in our walk.

• We must be mature.

• Our integrity must be purged unto righteousness.

• We must have an over comer mentality.

• And we have to turn away from those things that are not for us, rather it is people or habits.

   

  What we need to remember is according to Revelations 12:11 we are over comers through the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimonies. 

   

  My beloved, you are a Champion and God loves you.

   

  Commitment

  Humility

  Assertive

  Maturity and

  Purged

  Integrity

  Overcomes

  Neglect
