The Social Experience......Helping the Unsigned Artist Get Heard!!!
Okay my Poze family so it has been quite since I have posted on my blog and so much has happened.
1) I had such a awsome time in November where I won Two awards at the Hollywood X-POZE-ING /Born To Perform awards in Chicago aka (Chi iTown) thanks to all of my wonderful fans and fellow Poze family for your unconditional love and unwavering support.
2) Since July of 2015 have been caring for Two beautiful, talented and gifted people in my life; One of whom I lost due to complications from a serious life ending disease on February 1st of this year. He was 44 years young.
My brother Marlon Al Wright Brown effectionately nemed by me as (Cletus What's Going Down Brown) was a man whom exemplified hard work and dedication along with that I got your back no matter what because I'm down for the cause and am here for you now and forever because I love you so much attitude and spirit.
He supported me in all that I accomplished from the moment he heard me hit my first note. This moment in my life is very surreal as well as emotional as my mind is always on him. He is and will always be my rock, my best friend, my Cat In The Hat's thing 1 to my thing 2, my no nonsense so bring your a** and do what you need to do to make it work kind of brother.
In the midst of this deep pain and sorrow; I am learning that life is to short for me to cast my dreams and destiny aside. I have to forge ahead because whether he is here or not he will always be with me, remimding me of those previous words I mentioned in the blog.
Monumental changes in ones life can bear fruit to powerful music, lyrics and performances depending on how we choose to not only define and use them.
I am both excited and anxious over the upcoming tour in May and am so looking forward to sharing the stage with my fellow Poze family. My brother will be with me in my heart, soul, body and mind as I take the stage.
