Mr. Rey Bio Who is Mr. Rey? In one word, perseverance. Persevering through a laborious journey with many obstacles. Committed to accomplishing goals and making his vision a reality. A vision of dynamic passion and unwavering dedication leading only to triumph and success. This is the Mr. Rey unfolded. As a young child growing up, Mr. Rey would love to entertain. Performing for family and friends at events and parties. In his early teenage years he loved sports and drawing. Though music was always there, in his heart, whether he saw it at the time or not. Inevitably his love for music was revealed in his late teens. Initiating the fire inside himself to want to share his gift and entertain the masses. Within months of making music, Mr. Rey went on to perform at showcases throughout NYC. Receiving great feedback from crowds whenever he jumped on stage. "There is no joy like hearing people chant your name after just hearing your songs for the 1st time. It gives me chills just thinking about it." said Mr. Rey. Things seemed to be well on its way until unexpected obstacles set back the momentum he had gained in that short period of time. These were hard times for him, but he endured and continuously made music while slowly finding his identity and sound. From his performances, Mr. Rey obtained a licensing deal with Viacom. This deal has enabled his music to have placements on MTV and Vh1 shows and specials throughout the past decade. Around 2012 he got back into a zone of being a recording artist and diligently worked on his sound. In late 2015 is when things really started clicking for Mr. Rey. He had new ideas for perfecting his craft and business. In March of 2016, he performed at SXSW. Shortly after, going on his 1st promo tour of 11 cities throughout the US in one month's time. He received great feedback from crowds all around the country. Learning many valuable lessons along the way to get to where he is now. Distinguishing where he wants to be in the foreseeable future. In 2017 and 2018, Mr. Rey has built a strong catalog of songs ready to be shared to the world. He is currently planning a promo tour in spring and summer of 2019. New material will be revealed, which is his best to date.
