About Me
Unstrung Guitar is a Rock group that continues to make great music every month. Our drive to succeed doesn't just stem from monetary gain or financial gain. Justin Schuster the brains of the operation. As a master of Electric Guitar, a talented recording engineer and brilliant composer, Unstrung Guitar has a leg up on the competition. Our home studio gives us the unique ability to create music from concept to the mixing board 24/7. We continue to use that space and our time to bring you great new music that has a sound and feel of it's own.
We are not making music that was written by one person, sold to a label that used all studio musician to recreate the song then passed the task off to an engineer to mix and master then handed off to god knows who to be approved and remixed and then finally resold to the public with a hope for financial gain.
Unstrung Guitar is unique in that we record all the instruments, vocals and drums in our conveniently outfitted home studio. All audio is mixed and mastered by the original song writer and performer. It is rare to find a multi-instrumentalist that can also use DAW's like Ableton Live or Pro-Tools to take the projects to post production. This is why our music is exactly how the artist intended and not the result of a team of Sony's best and most expensive engineers and producers.
So what is the benefit of making music that isn't directly intended for sale to an artist or major record label. Well the answer is simple my friend. You get music that is an expression of the performers intent that isn't muddled by the music industries long list of suggestions and revisions. The best part is that. Unstrung Guitar's music sounds amazing live! This is because we write music that can be performed exactly like the album on stage anywhere. We don't use auto tune or samples in our music at all. We don't use any sounds that we can't recreate perfectly when performing live.
