- JustKayla is a Rapper, Entertainer, and Recording Artist based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Florida, she has performed at Jacksonville’s Ritz Theater and at Troy Solomon’s Kids Talent event at the J3:16 Empowerment Center. Known for a lyricism, style, and delivery that are beyond her years, JustKayla has been a headliner on Nickelodeon’s “Who Got Next?” and is one of the youngest and most impressive upcoming artists on the hip-hop scene. She has been praised on social media by one of HipHop’s top female emcee, 3DNa’Tee and featured in HNS Magazine as a Top 25 winner in a national “Hottest Verse” contest, despite being the youngest of the competition’s 200 contestants. She was also invited by the Teachers’ Association of Long Beach to perform at their First Friday event when they discovered her “Anti-Bullying” video on YouTube.
JustKayla’s single, “I GOT ‘EM HATIN ON ME,” available on iTunes and Amazon.com, has gained her national attention, including a feature on TheWomenofHipHop.com. Her new single, “Watching Me,” Featuring 3D Na'TEE was released on January 1, 2016 and is now available on iTunes and Amazon.com. JustKayla will be the 2nd youngest female emcee in history to have collaborated in the studio with a major industry female emcee. With her infectious energy, mature and poetic sensibility, and her outstanding work ethic, the sky is the limit for this young artist, who is sure to become one of the most sought-after hip-hop artists of her generation.
