- About Me
- Whether I'm performing on stage or writing songs, music has been and always will be an important part of my life.
At 13 I remember recording for the first time...then at 14 & 15 sang at various fashion shows, karaoke contests & cable access shows in the Chicago area. When I was 15 I was chosen as a contestant on the Chicago version of "Showtime at the Apollo" with Steve Harvey (who is awesome by the way). This led me to someone who introduced me to the amazing Rev. Lena Mclin (famous composer & vocal coach)..who helped me tighten up my voice.
In Southampton, England... I wrote & recorded with Mark Hill (aka Artful Dodger).
Next was Grammy Award Winning Producer Narada Michael Walden and songwriter Sunny Hilden in San Rafael, CA.
One of the songs I recorded with Narada,"Gimme a Sign" became the theme song for CBS television show "Now And Again," which also aired on the Sci-Fi Network.
You can also hear me singing the vocals on the club/dance single "Lift Me Up" by The Canadian & Euro-Dance Platinum group JLM. I have been in many bands and have "gigged" all over Illinois & California...the coolest of which was at the Kodak Theater for the first annual Los Angeles city Firefighter awards.
I’m recording new music now and getting prepared for what’s next!
I recorded a new song with duo Mid Coast All Stars which is available for purchase on iTunes & in the Google Play Store, called CLARIFY. Clarify was just featured on IGN Podcast BEYOND Ryan’s Wrap Up Pre-E3 episode!
My forte' is coming up with lyrics/melodies on the fly and just having a good time...keep your ears open for me!
