Profile Information

About Me: I'm just a girl who loves to sing. I have been involved in Amateur Theatre, as a Performer, Director, Producer for many years. I have taken roles in Musicals and Plays. I started going to a local Jazz club and found a love of old smooth Jazz Standards. I started singing there and we performed a Fete and charity events. I was asked to join a little band and we did small venues in the local area. I was bought some recording time as a birthday present by my friends. Otherwise I would never have ventured into this world of recording. I have recently been recovering from a debilitating illness which clipped my wings somewhat. Not being able to get out and do my usual musical and theatrical hobbies, I started singing more at home. I have always written poetry over the years but never songs. I am not an instrumentalist. However I came up with a tune, Melody and Lyrics which I couldn't get out of my head. I sang it into my phone to record it. I got in touch with Tom Tyson of Music Farm Recording Studio. I sent him my recording. He said he thought I definitely had something. I went up and sang it to him and John Marcangelo (Multi Instrumentalist and composer), he noted it and played it on piano. Within the hour I had the backing track. I sent it to another musician friend, Guitarist Dean Newton, who said he liked it and would put the guitar on it. That was the Start. I now have 3 original songs under my belt. I have also Recorded some of Tom Tysons Own Country Style Songs which he had co-written some 20+ years ago. This kept me focused while I was recovering. I am now well on the road to recovery and getting my life back. I am really grateful to the friends who started me on this journey by buying the recording time for me.
