- About Me
- To pursue your dreams in anything in this world it takes passion, a plan, determination and faith. But for Nix the Future, it hasn't been the easiest route to realizing his true talent. From a youth, music and sports have been the biggest influences on a life that has been balanced with amazing highs and profound disappointments. Through it all the constant therapy has been Nix's ability to put his thoughts and feelings into what would later become a movement. Born in New Orleans and raised in Tacoma, WA and Lagos, Nigeria, Nix has come to embrace the world for what it truly is. A melting pot of ideas and beliefs that people either relate to or don't understand. A self proclaimed "hippy at heart," Nix's sole reason to create music is to inspire, to stimulate and ultimately to make the people dance. Nix enjoyed a great year of collective accomplishments and performances with his long-time music confidant and brother Jevy from the Take Off Movement. As well as highlights like opening for acts like Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Tyga, and Black Cobain. The latest appetizer on the menu for current and Future fans for now is this early Spring's Dreamchaser Mixtape. Be sure to check the hot singles Dreamchaser, Hit Tha Floor, and Highlight.
