Emerging an independent online artist in the 20th, Denver based Solo artist Tre Main is a trailblazing songwriter and vocalist, showcasing an eclectic music repertoire of Urban Pop,Dance, RNB & Hip Pop. Earlier projects such as the 2001 EP "In Frame of Mind" followed by 2006 s "Into the Open" & 2011s "Virgo Red" would acquire him a vast trend of new listeners.
The 2015-16 year would revolutionize his sound as Tre Main would depart from his traditional self composing & writing structure to join in a duo collaboration with Atlanta based music firm So Fo Real in his 2016 effort “Nightlife Confessions 15." While the project has yet to be released (2019 relaunch) Tre Main’s invite to the project would immediately connect fans to instant favorites as the uptown funky “So Damn Cynical” alongside the indie dance hit “Played the Fool.”, & the international pop smash "Hit & Run." The project would also bring about new collaborations on breakthrough tracks such as “Talk with Stranger’s” w/ Andrew Mc Bean & the collective Hip-Pop duet “In the Life” introducing new comer Jayce also of Denver, Colorado.
The anticipated 2018 project #thematerialworld once again brings Tre Main full circle with the So Fo Real team on a 20 track anthology due out late Summer 2018. Sure to be an ear pleasing treat w/ early listening successes of "Everlasting" a fan tribute, the infectious & ambiguous "State of the Art" & the albums title track and front runner "The Material World." #MUSIC
How did you hear about us?
What is your profession (singer, rapper, songwriter, poet, dancer, model, music fan, etc.)?
I am currently a Solo Artist. My desire is to have a traveling circle of musicians.
What is your style of music?
I hail from a Southern background where everyone in my family, immediate and extended are fluent in some kind and/or art of music. Many started and remain in the church as others, as myself started in the church though took another direction with my artistry.
I grew listening to old R & B and Gospel. As I entered into my rebellious years I grew fond of a lot alternative and British pop acts. Throughout High school running with another crowd I connected with some harder Rock, though came full swing to love dance music once I entered into the world of the unknown. Therefore, I attempt to incorporate a little bit of all of these elements into my thought process when laying out a new track. So much music, in different phases of my life has really influenced me as an artist.
Who are your influences in the music industry?
I have been the biggest fan of music ever since I can remember.
Today I tend to favor artists with creative edge, who can openly and genuinely express themselves, pushing the envelope without any regret. I also like artists with conscious and political enlightenment.
Today I can appreciate artists such as Janelle Monae, Frank Ocean, John Legend, Kings & Queens, Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar,Macy Gray Fall Out Boy & Pharrell just to name a few.

Mainstream media that caters to black people push the fact that success is making it to the NBA, NFL and being a rapper and selling drugs. I feel somehow we need to change that. Its a small percentage of people who will make it to be in the NBA, NFL or a rapper or in the music industry. And no one should believe that selling drugs will help them to become successful. We need to change this for the kids. Mainstream should push the fact that school is important and getting a trade. If 10 people…See More
